Storage

Keep your bottles of Chateau Robin laid down, in a dark place where the temperature is stable. The ideal temperature of storage is 16°C.

Decanter

If you can, decant Chateau Robin before serving it!
Even ten minutes in a carafe will improve Chateau Robin. The younger the wine will be, and the more you can decant a long time before drinking (Up to three hours of carafe for a wine from three to four years old).
But do not worry, even if you do not decant Chateau Robin, you will love it!

Drink or hold?

It is a question of taste. Some people like old wines, others younger wines. So our advice is to taste: if you like Chateau Robin young, drink it, it will not remain like that. If you estimate that it is still too young and deserves to age, then forget it in cellar a little. But always remember that it is better to drink a wine "too young" rather than to leave it in your cellar until it is too late and the wine is "dead". Here are our recommendations for each vintage of Chateau Robin, with good conditions of storage:

1992 to 2002: Drink
2003: Drink or hold until 2018 maximum
2004: Drink or hold until 2016 maximum
2005: Drink or hold until 2020 maximum
2006: Drink or hold until 2018 maximum
2007: Drink or hold until 2016 maximum
2008: Drink or hold until 2020 maximum

Chateau Robin and food

Chateau Robin is a high quality wine, but simple and easy to enjoy. No need to be an expert in tasting to appreciate it! As an appetizer or after the meal , you will love it. With food, you can match with tasty dishes : meat, game, cheese.
